I am an Associate Professor of Library and Information Science in the School of Education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
In 2016 I started the Let's Move in Libraries initiatve. I continue to direct this project.
I also continue to maintain the the eBlack Champaign-Urbana initiative, begun in 2009 during my time in Illinois.
My research, teaching, and service focuses on fostering community partnerships, particularly as they involve public libraries.
My book Healthy Living at the Library was published by Libraries Unlimited in April 2020.
